Catch the train and the bus to Marlo, then walk 300m to our Park. If you want to plan your supplies, Coles do grocery deliveries to town.
While you are here:
- Go to the pub for a sunset view, 100m
- Watch for Seals and Pelicans at the Marlo Jetty, 250m
- Grab a Brisket Burger or Banh Mi from The Local @ Marlo general store next door, 50m
- Walk to the Snowy River Mouth via MOTS Beach, 7km return
- Check out the fungi on the Foreshore track. Try again after dark for the glowing ghost mushrooms, 800m
- Fuel up with an Egg and Bacon Sandwich and coffee from the Bait and Tackle Cafe,150m
- Take a lap of town through the State Forest tracks, 4km
- Stroll along the beach on the edge of the Snowy River, 500m
- Join the local trivia competition on the 3rd Tue of the Month at the Angling Club, 300m
- Gaze at the big skies of the Milky Way, and if you are lucky, the Southern Aurora from the foreshore. 400m
- Hike to Frenches Narrows, 9.5km return
- Use the public bus to spend the afternoon and evening in Orbost, 2pm to 7pm, or do a trip back to Lakes Entrance for an afternoon.
- Walk around town to see our famous Sculpture Trail, 3.5km
- For those that are very thirsty and up for an adventure you can walk to Sailors Grave Brewing for lunch and a tasting paddle via Frenches Narrows and the beach, 20km return
